Maddalena Lombardini-Sirmen

Maddalena Lombardini-Sirmen, born in Venice, Italy, was one of that select number of eighteenth century female musicians able to make a career as a touring performer, concertizing as both a violinist and an opera singer. There are twenty-six known compositions by Lombardini-Sirmen, all of which are written for strings.
