Eliza Pattiani

19th Century -

Eliza Pattiani, virtuoso pianist and music teacher from Chicago, was the performer of her often challenging, virtuoso piano music. One such work, Grand National Medley with Variations, is typical of the favorite variation form of the period, which often used familiar patriotic and popular tunes.
