Joyce Solomon

b. 1946

Joyce Elaine Solomon received her B.S. degree in chemistry from Vassar College before going on to graduate work in music at Rutgers University, Sarah Lawrence College, and the Columbia-Princeton Electronic Music Center. She completed her doctorate at Columbia University in 1982. Her works have been performed by the Detroit Synphony Orchestra and the Brooklyn Philharmonia Chamber Ensemble, among other groups.
