Composed in 1840, very shortly after her Quintet #1, Op. 30, this quintet is scored for the same instrumentation as Schubert’s Trout Quintet. The full score in this modern edition has been created by the editor using the individual parts from the 1844 edition. Publication includes introductory material about the composer and this work. Newly-created individual string parts have been edited to provide bowings and consistent dynamics and phrasings.
