Composed during the early development of the string quartet genre, these quartets show Lombardini-Syrmen’s skill and facility with string playing and writing. These quartets, most likely written for Lombardini-Syrmen’s students, make excellent teaching works as well as being well suited for performance. (Score and parts included)
