This is Le Beau’s first chamber music composition, written in 1875. It is a passionate work in three movements: Allegro, Andante cantabile, and Allegro con fuoco. The violin and piano parts are equally balanced throughout by a continuous exchange of ideas, flowing naturally and with satisfying variety.
