This work was written for Philip Ficsor in February, 2008, and premiered by him and the composer at a Santa Barbara Music Club concert in the Faulkner Gallery of the Santa Barbara Public Library in May, 2008. One reviewer described Ms. Diemer’s new work by saying “Diemer’s new piece has sophistication, substance, and unpretentious charm.”
