Antigone Speaks is a 5 minute piece for flute and viola based on music and words of Kassia and Sophocles. The work is structured in three short sections.

Spoken Text:
And Antigone said, “Be of good cheer, thou livest…”
…but my life hath long been given to serve…”
And Kassia sang, “The enemy has fallen, defeated by a woman.”
And Antigone declared, “Tis not my nature to join in hating but in loving.”
