Anna Bon
b. ca. 1740
Very little is known about the life of the composer who describes herself as "Anna Bon of Venice, chamber music virtuosa." She was married to the singer Mongeri and was a harpsichordist in the service of Frederick, the Margrave of Brandenburg Culmbach. Three sets of her sonatas, one set for keyboard, one for flute and continuo and one for two flutes and continuo, were published in Nuremburg between 1756 and 1759.
